Tasked with encapsulating the essence of Shroo’s pioneering organic mushroom tea, the design initiative aimed to create a visual identity that spoke to the brand’s core values of natural wellness and organic integrity. As the lead designer, my role was to craft a logo and packaging that resonated with the brand’s mission to provide healthy, balanced lifestyle choices.

The primary challenge was to design a visual language that communicated the brand’s vision of blending the ancient tradition of tea with the innovative use of mushrooms. The packaging needed to reflect Shroo’s commitment to health and the environment, while also standing out in a competitive marketplace.

Design Strategy and Execution: I approached the logo design by developing a clean, modern typeface that would be both memorable and reflective of the brand’s minimalist ethos. For the packaging, I chose a palette of earth tones and textures that evoke a connection to nature, paired with marbled patterns representing the unique blend of each tea flavor.

Each element of the packaging was meticulously designed to balance aesthetics with functionality. The use of circular windows on the boxes invites a visual connection to the product, while the detailed descriptions of the ingredients and their benefits serve to educate and engage the consumer.

Impact: The new branding and packaging were instrumental in elevating Shroo’s market presence. The striking design garnered attention, communicating the brand’s story at a glance, and has been credited with increasing shelf impact and consumer interest.
